Gilbert returns to finish out this year's extended tax filing season with some updates to hopefully clear some recent confusion with relief programs. Everyone these days seems to be doing "what is right in his own eyes." So we must always ask, "What is truth?" Gilbert talks about PPP and other programs (rules that are changing almost daily). Important to note is that if the PPP loan is forgiven, expenses paid with that money cannot be deducted. Having an ITIN on the tax return apparently disqualifies people from EIP (aka, stimulus check). Gilbert also offers 9 tips for the self-employed recipient of PPP.
