Our final episode of the 2017 Tax Season. Gilbert offers encouragement as we face divisive politics in our nation. By now, if you haven't filed your taxes, you will file an extension. BUT the extension to file is NOT an extension to PAY! Check up on your withholdings and make adjustments if necessary to avoid large bills or large refunds. Don't use your refund as a savings account. Gilbert explains the Obamacare Cliff and how to fall off it- you might be caught owing back subsidies if you don't correctly estimate your income. Also, as Gilbert has said from the beginning, Identity Theft is still on the rise and a major security threat we face.
Thank you to Christy, Peggy, all our sponsors, our clients and listeners! Join us again next season for Gilbert Talks Taxes.
